These Terms and Conditions govern use of the GoRoots website, booking platform, and related services for salon and wellness appointments. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian, to use this platform. By creating an account or booking an appointment, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Use of Service

You agree to use the platform lawfully and not misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to any part of the service.

  • You must not submit false bookings, spam requests, or fraudulent payment details.
  • You must not interfere with platform security, availability, or other users.

3. Appointment Booking

Appointment availability is based on real-time provider schedules and can change. A booking request is confirmed only after you receive confirmation via the platform, email, or SMS.

You are responsible for reviewing appointment details before confirming, including service type, duration, location, provider, and applicable fees.

4. Pricing, Deposits, and Payments

Service pricing, taxes, deposit requirements, and fees are shown during booking and may vary by provider. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment partners.

  • Some services may require a non-refundable or partially refundable deposit.
  • Outstanding balances may be due at the time of service.
  • You authorize charges for confirmed bookings, late cancellations, or no-shows where disclosed.

5. Rescheduling, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

Providers may define booking-specific cut-off times for rescheduling or cancellation. These policies are displayed before checkout and incorporated into your booking agreement.

  • Cancellations made before the stated cut-off may qualify for full or partial refund per policy.
  • Late cancellations may result in partial or full service charges.
  • No-shows may be charged up to the full service amount.
  • Repeated no-shows may lead to account restrictions or booking suspension.

6. Arrival and Service Conditions

You are expected to arrive on time. Late arrival may shorten the appointment or require rescheduling depending on provider availability. Certain services may be declined for health, safety, or hygiene reasons.

7. User Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use.

8. Communications Consent

By booking through GoRoots, you consent to receiving transactional messages for appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, support follow-ups, and receipts.

Transactional SMS consent and marketing SMS consent are collected separately. Both consent checkboxes are optional and are not pre-checked.

  • Transactional messages include appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling updates, and account notifications.
  • Marketing messages include offers, promotions, and service announcements.
  • Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. Opting out of transactional messages may impact your ability to receive appointment-related updates.

9. Provider Services and Third Parties

GoRoots may provide booking infrastructure for independent service providers. Providers are responsible for service delivery, quality, pricing accuracy, and applicable licensing obligations.

GoRoots is not responsible for third-party outages, payment processor interruptions, or provider-side operational issues outside our direct control.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, design, and software are owned by GoRoots or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoRoots is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to platform use, appointment outcomes, or third-party services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, GoRoots total liability will be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant booking giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoRoots from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, policy violations, or unlawful conduct.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where GoRoots operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Parties agree to attempt informal resolution before filing formal claims.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
